Painting Landscapes and Dreamscapes | Ages 10-12

Concept and Experience

This workshop brings together landscapes both real and imagined to create unique paintings of hybrid spaces. Young artists learn how to depict various elements of the landscape, such as skies, water, and plants and trees through skill building exercises before moving into more finished paintings of their own creation. Using expressive painting techniques, students are encouraged to play with color, space, and reality in their finished pieces.
